Here’s something interesting for you StarCraft II players out there. I’m talking to the crazy fanatics, as someone has mapped out the StarCraft II race win percentages for you diehard pro-gamers to pour you brains into.
Reddit user, and SC:II fanatic Ctushik posted on the StarCraft sub-Reddit his more recent work of mapping the wins per race usage for StarCraft II. Now, remember that this was just started recently, over 6 months work has gone into collecting data and mapping it out on a graph. Most people would love to see the win/race percentages since the release of the game, but that would entail a bigger job that would involve more people.
The statistics, as stated, are from 6 months of data, either culled from wins in the Korean league, or wins from the American league (he’s made graphs for both regions). Not included are mirror matches, as most of the data is based on tournament matches, but also no ladder matches (since ladder matches are not useful, what with the way matchmaking works in that situation). Interesting stuff, a little too advanced for my puny brain (statistics never really interested me), but if you’re interested in this sort of thing you can find more info and discussion in the following links:
