Sydney Gamers League (SGL) is one of Australia’s longest and largest running gaming events. The largest part of SGL is the Bring Your Own PC LAN (BYOPC LAN), in which hundreds of gamers grab their gear and head to Rosehill Gardens Exhibition Center for 30 hours straight of awesome fun!
SGL prides itself on catering for all types of people, whether you play Minecraft alone for fun, or in Australia’s top eSports team, your guaranteed to have a fun time. We usually have anywhere between 50 and over 100 competitions and challenges during the event, such as Battlefield 3 32v32, Minecraft design competition, League of Legends 5v5, Counter-Strike:Source Gungame, and the odds are, if you play it, we support it, and theres heaps of other gamers willing to play it with you or against you. On top of that, we give out $10 000′s of prizes and cash, to celebrate your skill and fun!
SGL is also more than just straight gaming though, thanks to our great technology partners, we get to demonstrate some of the latest IT and gaming gear, and even get you hands on before release! We also partner with several other gaming related events, such as IGDA’s GameJAM 2012 (in which 200 developers lock themselves up for 48 hours to produce a game), or BarCraft Sydney (enjoy watching eSports? enjoy drinking at a bar? well combine the two and thats BarCraft ) to provide a diverse series of entertainment.
So we look forward to seeing you at SGL, and know you will have a great time
