SteelSeries, a leader in the development and production of professional gaming peripherals, continues to be at the forefront of the industry, adamant in providing gamers with gaming gear that works for them and not the other way around.
Initiating the SteelSereis Design by Gamers campaign in 2011, SteelSeries continues to work with gamers in the development of quality gaming gear this year, announcing that attendees and professionals present during the Major League Gaming (MLG) Winter Championship will get to share and cooperate with the brand in the development of newer, more relevant gaming-inclined mouse and keyboard layouts/designs.
Last year, the brand’s Kana Mouse (orange and black) was borne from the SteelSeries Design by Gamers campaign. This year, SteelSeries continues to strengthen the professional gaming arena by proactively gaining design insight and input from the very consumers who’ll be using the brand’s offered wares.
“MLG Winter Championship attendees will be asked what features, functionality and designs they prefer. What better way to understand exactly what the MLG gamers, audience and fans want out of their peripherals than by asking them first hand?” shares Kim Rom, CMO, SteelSeries.
SteelSeries will setup kiosks during the MLG Winter Championship, where attendees get to answer different questions in relation to the functionality, design and overall form which define superior professional gaming gear from the rest. Different SteelSeries goodies are also in store for MLG Winter Championship participants who’ll take active participation in the brand’s design development survey.
Likened as the “BMW” or “Ferrari” of competitive gaming gear, SteelSeries extends a wide range of products, from keyboards, mice, gaming surfaces, headsets and more.
The brand has also been a pillar for different competitive gaming tournaments and events, offering team sponsorships and overall community support for different events and activities happening all over the globe.
Its SteelSeries Design by Gamers campaign brings it to a “hands-on”, grassroots level, in providing quality gaming equipment that works for gamers, and not the other way around.
