ROCCAT’s Lua to come by July/August 2012

A lot of raves have been circling around the ROCCAT Lua, a gaming mouse developed by the Germany-based ROCCAT, heralded to be “The Classic 3-Button Mouse: Re-Mastered.”

A ROCCAT highlight for the Computex Expo and the E3 in Los Angeles, the Lua is built with comfy handling features and packed with the latest of gaming engineering technologies within.

Boasting the endearing 3-button mouse convention, the Lua features an advanced Pro Optic R2 sensor which rigs it with different DPI settings, from 250, 500, 1000, 1250, 1500, 1750 to 2000. Accuracy and speed won’t be an issue with the Lua, with gamers armed with the option to shift between DPI settings on the fly.

Game buttons can even be configured to work with particular DPI settings, as absolute precision with the Lua is further increased with its 2D scroll wheel.

“We took the beloved three-button mouse design and injected it with our innovative gaming engineering – and created a killer tool that gives props to the past while heading boldly into the future,” shares René Korte, CEO and Founder of ROCCAT.

“The Lua delivers everything gamers need for control, comfort and style – all in a sleek and slim design that offers perfect comfort for every hand.”

The Lua is built with soft touch features, which makes it the perfect gaming mouse for extended gaming sessions. Its form, a V-shaped ambidextrous design, also allows for user comfort, even when a game session goes on for hours and hours.

Tactile feedback is also a Lua highlight, which facilitates for quick and accurate shifts in changing weapons or issuing commands when in play.

Slated to be available in international markets sometime by July and August, the ROCCAT Lua is tagged at $29.99. Given its price and features, its quite smart and practical for a classic 3-button gaming mouse.

Stay tuned for more details on the Lua, once it gets the chance to shine in E3.
