It’s important to remember that although the dealer has no control over the outcome of the hand, he or she does have an impact on the betting round. There is a minimum ante, typically $1 or $5, for playing.<\/p>\n
During the first two rounds, the deck is shuffled. Once a new set of cards is shuffled, the dealer deals the cards to the players one at a time.<\/p>\n
This is called the draw phase. When this phase is completed, all cards in the deck are used to determine an odd chip. If an opponent has an odd chip, they are a high-card hand.<\/p>\n
